Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar becomes the only Indian personality to feature in Forbes list of top-paid 100 celebrities with a total earning of 48.5 million dollars, which he earns from films, his production company, and brand endorsements.
Settling at the 52nd spot, the Khiladi Kumar has defeated international stars like Will Smith and Jennifer Lopez. Meanwhile, the first place has been bagged by Kylie Jenner, with an earning of 590 million dollars. She is followed by Kanye West with 170 million dollars.
Akshay’s earnings, however, observed a steep decline if compared to 2019. He was at 33rd spot last year, with earnings of $65 million.
Forbes said the Celebrity Top 100 earned a combined $6.1 billion before taxes and fees, a $200 million drop from 2019, after the coronavirus pandemic shuttered stadiums and sports arenas.
