Shah Rukh Khan’s KKR announces relief package for Amphan-hit people in WB
Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s Indian Premiere League franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has come up with a relief package for the people affected due to cyclone Amphan in West Bengal.
The relief package will be provided in those places that have been adversely affected by the cyclone. This was confirmed through a tweet by the Kolkata Knight Riders verified handler.
The tweet read, “The people of #Kolkata and #WestBengal have embraced #KKR and extended their love and unconditional support over the years. This is a small effort on our part to provide some relief to those affected.”

West Bengal and Odissa were heavily affected by cyclone Amphan. It is reported that Shah Rukh has extended his support to four areas namely Kolkata, East Medinipur, and North and South 24 Parganas.
Bollywood superstar is known for extending a helping hands in times of need. Earlier too, SRK donated to PM Care fund to help India’s fight against COVID-19. He also offered his four story office in Mumbai for isolation centre as Maharashtra has the maximum number of Corona positive cases.
