Asha Negi met Rithvik Dhanjani on the sets of her debut show-Pavitra Rishta. Their love story is nothing less than a film script. After being inseparable for years, there are few buzz doing rounds that their marriage is on cards. Back in 2016 when PTI asked Asha about her marriage plans with Rithvik to which she had said, “I think we are very happy in the space that we are in currently. We are enjoying this phase and want it to continue for some more time… I think marriage will happen two-three years later but we might get engaged next year.”
Asha was recently seen playing the lead role in Ekta Kapoor’s Alt Balaji’s web series- ‘Baarish’ where she shared screen space with Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi. In a recent conversation with leading daily, actress was asked about the project where she’ll be sharing screen space with Rithvik to which actress said, “We are not the right people to answer the question because it depends on the producers. We have been offered [shows] in the past, but it comes with a lot of pressure because we have one hit under our belt. So, we have been sceptical about working together.”
“If we do take up something, it will have to be different. We have a precious bond and don’t want to test it before the camera. For now, we are enjoying our own careers,” she added.
In a recent interaction with Hindustan Times, Asha was asked how she keeps her relationship with Rithvik so strong. To this actress explained that every relationship have its own ups and downs and they too go through rough patches but don’t believe in making it public.
“There is no such thing as a perfect relationship. We, too, go through difficult times and rough phases. But we never show that publicly, so people think everything is hunky-dory,” said Asha.
Actress further said, “If anyone who is in a relationship says that he or she hasn’t had fights or arguments, then they are lying. Also, when one person isn’t able to move ahead or take the relationship forward, the other person has to work at it. Sometimes, it is me and at other times, it is Rithvik, who carries our relationship forward.”
