I haven’t been offered anything: Alia Bhatt on reports of collaborating with Ranveer Singh for the third time

Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh are both at the peak of their careers and have recently successfully pulled of a great show with their movie Gully Boy! Gully Boy was a huge success and the two were absolutely admired and adorned for their acting skills and their chemistry in the movie! The news that had arrived earlier reported that Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh shall also be playing the lead roles in Karan Johar’s Mughal period Drama Takht! Well, to add on to the list, here’s the buzz reporting that there is yet another movie the two are teaming up for! Addressing the rumours, Alia Bhatt said, “Not many people know but me and Ranveer share a very special bond. It’s very new but there’s a lot of admiration and there’s a lot of excitement for each other. I genuinely love him. He is such a gem of a person. I actually feel that Ranveer and I are similar a lot in life. I hope those reports are true (of another film) But I haven’t been offered anything. Ranveer and I are always joking with each other. Ranveer says that how he will write in his contract that he will work only with me. So I hope the rumour comes true.”

While Ranveer Singh is busy shooting for 83′, a Kapil Dev biopic, Alia Bhatt is busy promoting her movie Kalank! Takht, narrates the story of brothers Dara Shiokh and Aurangzeb. If reports are to be believed then in the period drama, Ranveer will portray Dara Shiokh and Alia will play his wife Begum Nadira Banu. The magnum opus also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar in key roles.
