Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also reached a college in Chennai to campaign and interact with the students. The campaign took place at Chennai’s Stella Maris college where hundreds of students gathered to listen to Rahul Gandhi – the President of the Indian Nationa Congress.
The best moments from the event was when a student, Azra, addressed him as “sir” and he responded saying “Call me Rahul”. Now that not only left the young student blushing who replied with an ‘OK’ but also met with thunderous applause. Rahul won over the students with that, we must say.
Rahul also promised 33% reservation for women in Government jobs if Congress came to power. If you visit northern Indian states like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, you’ll be shocked to see the way women are treated. I think Tamil Nadu leads when it comes to women and how they should be treated.
