Akshay Kumar Film’s ‘Sooryavanshi’ Release on Eid May Break Salman Khan’s Enduring Dominion Over The Holiday

Sooryavanshi is the lastest entrant in shetty’s police universe and promises to be “action-packed, masala intact”. Akshay Kumar will play the lead role as Veer Suryavanshi.

Ever since Akshay Kumar announced Eid 2020 as the release date of his upcoming film Sooryavanshi with Rohit Shetty, rumours have been rife about Akshay Kumar’s intentions to sabotage Salman’s films.

Even though Akshay doesn’t seem to be an actor that believes in the analogy of attributing to a trademark festive release slot, he made the most of Independence Day or its week with films like Rustom (2016), Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2017) and Gold (2018).

The actor could also be experimenting with other mainstream holidays like Eid and Diwali. He has booked this year’s Diwali in advance for his movie Housefull 4.

Akshay discussed the same with Salman. He thought it would be wise to discuss with Salman before making any discussion and Salman being the “Bade Dilwala” as he is agreed to give away the date to his friend.
