Deepika Padukone needed to ‘replenish emotionally’ after doing consecutive films with Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Well, it is not just her husband Ranveer Singh, but also the fact that all three have been Sanjay Leela Bhansali films! Deepika Padukone has had a great association with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and their joint projects have all turned out going well! But, here’s Deepika talking about her opinion on working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in consecutive films! She says she needed to replenish emotionally after doing consecutive movies with SLB!

In an interview with a leading media house, the 32-year-old actress, Deepika Padukone said, “I must admit that I was exhausted after working with Sanjay sir (Leela Bhansali) consecutively. (As an actor) I had nothing left and that’s why I really needed to replenish emotionally before I took up anything else.” Deepika shall now be seen in the movie Chhapaak, playing the role of an acid attack victim, Laxmi! The movie Chhapaak is Meghna Gulzar’s movie wherein Vikrant Massey shall be seen playing DP’s husband and Deepika Padukone herself is the producer for the movie!

Talking about Chhapaak, DP said, “Honestly, I have no clue about how I am going to go about things. I am taking each day as it comes. I think with Meghna, I am in great hands. At some point, I will have to switch off as a producer and switch on only as an actor.”
