Ranveer Singh is a ‘proud’ husband as wife Deepika Padukone plays an acid attack victim in Chhapaak

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married on 14th and 15th November, 2018 in a private ceremony at Lake Como in Italy, in presence of their families and close relatives! Following which, the duo hosted reception parties for their relatives and friends from the Bollywood Fraternity! Now, that all their wedding festivities are over, the duo are back to their work routine! While Ranveer Singh is busy promoting his upcoming movie Simmba, Deepika Padukone recently took her Instagram to share what her upcoming movie, Meghna Gulzar’s film, Chhapaak, is all about! On Monday morning, Deepika Padukone took to her Instagram account to share what Chhapaak, in a nutshell, is all about. The actress shared a photo that read, “A STORY OF TRAUMA AND TRIUMPH AND THE UNQUASHABLE HUMAN SPIRIT.” She captioned it, “#Chhapaak @meghnagulzar @vikrantmassey87 @foxstarhindi”

Being the perfect husband that he is Ranveer was quick to comment on the post and wrote ‘proud of you baby’ and in another one, he replied with clapping emoji. Looks like Ranveer is very proud of his wifey.

Chhapaak, stars Vikrant Massey as Deepika Padukone’s on-screen husband. The character played by Deepika is that of the acid victim Laxmi. Laxmi on who is the film is based, she was 15 when she was attacked with acid by two middle-aged men. Apparently, she had rejected the advances of a 32-year-old man and in a fit of rage, he got her attacked.
