IPL Auction 2018: Look At The Complete List of Players Sold
Indian Premier League aka IPL is inarguably one of the most popular T20 tournament in the world. After all, it brings glamour and thrill together. Every team wants to grab the coveted trophy, for which they need to have a good side. In order to assemble a good and worthy team, each and every team went to IPL auction that took place in Jaipur yesterday. If reports have anything to go by, more than 350 players gave their name for IPL bidding, which includes some obvious and some unknown names.
As usual, this year’s IPL auction was also filled with surprises. There were some shocking snubs and some shocking price tag for some unknown players. For example, the uncapped Varun Chakravarthy was sold to Kings XI Punjab for a whopping Rs. 8.4 Crore.
Last year’s biggest surprise Indian pacer Jaydev Unadkhat once again got lots of money, as Rajasthan Royals bought him for Rs. 8.4 Crore once again. Yuvraj Singh failed to get any bidder in the first round of auction but got chosen by Mumbai Indians at the base price in the second round.
Every team seemed to have a specific strategy when it came to shelling out money. Every team looked to strengthen their team in the most appropriate way possible. Scroll down and check out the complete list.
