Finally, 2.0 is out and has received a roaring welcome. The movie is already breaking several records at the box office. Touted as the costliest film ever made in the history of Indian Cinema, 2.0 has been able to earn more than Rs. 165 Crore in just three days. The visual effects and the performances of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar have received a rave review from the fans.
The best part about this film is the social message it carries about the harmful effects of technology on nature. The movie talks about how men are losing touch with the real world due to excess use of technology.
Rajinikanth once again takes on the role of Dr. Vaseegaran and robot Chitti. The superstar has once again proved why we consider him best in the business. He has lightened up the screen with his near-to-perfect presence in the movie.
Akshay Kumar has played his role of Pakshi Raja to the perfection. His character is deeply saddened by the plight of birds in the growing age of technology and phones. Eventually, Pakshi Raja becomes the main antagonist of the film.
One of the highlights of 2.0 is the introduction of Chitti 3.0, which was too cute to be missed. Thalaiva looked absolutely adorable in his tiny avatar. 3.0 was the microbots that have already won millions of hearts.
Just imagine the swagger and aura of Rajinikanth packed in a very tiny microbot. It’s impossible for anyone to not fall in love with.

3.0 doesn’t have much to do in the movie, but one never expects logic in Rajinikanth’s film. 3.0 is cute, funny and adorable at the same time. It is the best effort from the director to engage kids.
Director Shankar has also said that he is open to a sequel. If he introduced 3.0 hoping for the sequel, it’s a very good move. No one is complaining either, isn’t it?
