#MeToo in Bollywood was started by actress Tanushree Dutta who claimed that Nana Patekar had sexually harassed her in the year 2008 during the shoot of a song for movie Horn Ok Pleassss! With this revelation made by the actress, begun the #MeToo movement which then lead to a lot many women coming forward to boldly share their #MeToo stories! In other names, we got names of Rajat Kapoor, Sajid Khan, Abhijeet Bhattacharjee, Jatin Das, Vikas Bahl, Sham Kaushal and a lot many more! Due to the allegations Nana Patekar had opted out of Housefull 4 but the buzz says not all portions of Nana Patekar will be cut off from the movie!
When Sajid Khan was accused of sexual harassment under #MeToo Movement, Akshay Kumar called the shooting for Housefull 4 off! On shooting being called off, Sajid Khan stepped down as the captain of the ship and Farhad Samji, who had directed Housefull 3 joined the crew instead! With this came another change, although the shoot had begun, Nana Patekar too opted out of the movie due to the allegations put up on him under #MeToo movement!
According to our sources, the makers may retain the portions in the film which Nana Patekar has already shot for in Jodhpur recently. Our sources also reveal that Nana Patekar’s role has some prominence to the plot hence it is impossible to edit it out completely. It is not clear yet it Nana Patekar will wrap up shooting for the pending scenes in the latest schedule which was stopped midway owing to the controversy.
