Tanushree Dutta DEMANDS Lie-Detector Test Of Nana Patekar For Proper And Fair Investigation
Just earlier, Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Patekar of sexual harassment during the shooting of Horn Ok Please back in 2008. Soon, the actress was slammed by a legal notice by Nana Patekar and others. This whole situation is getting all the attention it deserves. After all, it led to the start of #MeToo movement in India, which has become very big now.
Both the teams are involved in legal battle with each other. Just recently, Tanushree Dutta filed a legal complaint against Nana Patekar and others at Oshiwara Police station and recorded her statement. According to ACP Manoj Kumar Sharma, the case has been filed under IPC Section 509 for word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman and Section 354 for assault or criminal force to woman intended to outrage her modesty. A notice has also been sent to CINTAA along with a copy of FIR demanding an appropriate action.
As of now, Nana Patekar’s legal team has not given any response to this. Now, it is reported that Tanushree Dutta has sent one more notice demanding brain mapping, lie-detector test and narco analysis of the actor during the investigation.
The notice submitted by Dutta’s lawyer Nitin Satpute says that the accused are denying the charges in front of media and may also pressurize witness or may produce bogus witnesses for recording false statement. They have demanded brain mapping, lie-detector test and narco analysis for Nana and his supporters.
We’ll have to wait to see what would be the result of this messy case.
