Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee Remains Critical, He Has Been On Life Support In AIIMS
Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee is one of tallest and the most prominent leaders Indian has ever seen. However, his health is very critical. He was admitted to AIIMS, Delhi on June 11, when he had a kidney infection, chest congestion, and urinary tract infection.
He has been getting treatment in AIIMS, but his health condition has become worse in the last 24 hours. He remains on the life support system. Many big leaders of the country are paying a visit to see the former Prime Minister.
PM Narendra Modi visited him yesterday around 7:30 PM. According to the reports, he’ll also visit him today.
AIIMS has issued an official statement about the Vajpayee’s health condition.
The Statement reads,
“Former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has been admitted for the last nine weeks at AIIMS. Unfortunately his condition has worsened over the last 24 hours. His condition is critical and he is on life support system”
Many prominent leaders from the country are set to visit Atal Bihari Vajpayee today at AIIMS. Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi and Nitish Kumar are also going to meet him today.
He has been on the ventilator support and doctors are trying their best to improve Vajpayee’s health condition.
