It all started when both the actors started working on their upcoming film Brahmastra directed by Ayan Mukerji. Amidst all the speculation and rumours, Alia Bhatt has been silent and playing it safe.
Recently, Alia Bhatt opened up about her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor during an interview with a leading daily. On being asked about if rumours of her dating Ranbir bothers her, she said,
āThe truth never bothers me. At the same time, even lies donāt affect me because if itās not true, I donāt care. Link-up rumours donāt affect my relationships with people. We have gotten used to it because it is a part and parcel of being in the business and limelightā

On the work front, Alia Bhattās last film Raazi was a smash hit at the box office earning more than Rs. 200 Crore worldwide. The actress is currently busy shooting for Kalank alongside Varun Dhawan, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur andBrahmastra featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy. She will also star in Gully Boy alongside Ranveer Singh.
