Ranbir Kapoor has been receiving lots of appreciation ever since the trailer of ‘Sanju’ has been surfaced on internet. But what matters to Ranbir Kapoor is thumbs up from Sanjay Dutt. At the trailer launch Ranbir said that he always wanted Sanjay Dutt to like him.
Addressing to media at trailer launch, Ranbir said, “I used to have Sanju sir’s poster on the wall of my cupboard, and today in front of you, I am looking at you and trying to represent him. I know I can never be the man he is but in every which way I go about my career I really want him to like me.”
In the trailer there is scene where Ranbir was seen going nude. Talking about the same actor said that he went nude in his very first film- ‘Saawariya’ when his towel fell. “Main toh pehli film se nude chala gaya tha jab mera towel gir gaya tha (I went nude in my first film when my towel fell). I am very shy in real life, but not when the camera is on. I am portraying a character so you have to be nude, emotionally and physically,” said Ranbir.
Trailer of the film reveals that Sanjay Dutt had 308 girlfriends in his life. In an ongoing interaction with media at trailer launch, Ranbir was asked that will he ever reveal how many he dated if his biopic is ever made. Replying to this actor said, “No, I won’t actually allow anyone (laughs). I don’t think that I am a courageous man like Sanjay Dutt to give my life out so openly. But my count is less that 10 (laughs), don’t think that a biopic would be made on me (laughs).”
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, ‘Sanju’ will hit theaters on June 29, 2018.
