Hackers Deleted Despacito From YouTube, After It Reached 5 Billion Views

In a shocking turn of events, Luis Fonsi’s popular track Despacito has been deleted from popular video streaming site YouTube by a group of hackers.

The song was deleted by the hackers after it reached staggering 5 billion views on YouTube. Despacito became the first song in the history to reach 5 billion views.

When people searched for the song, they got a video still showing masked figures pointing their guns at the camera. It clearly suggests that YouTube might have been hacked by the hackers.

The group of hackers, which goes by the names Prosox and Kuroi’sh also wrote “Free Palestine” underneath the videos.

There are some clips still alive on the popular video streaming site. It seems like the hack has attacked the video posted by Vevo also affecting singers like Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Drake and Shakira.

To uninitiated, Despacito was released back in January 2017. The song got immense popularity upon the release breaking several records in the process. The popular Spanish song also broke the record of the single with the most weeks at No. 1 in the United States after sitting at the top for staggering 16 continuous weeks.

The song also became the most viewed song in the world when it reached a whopping view of 4.6 billion.

In addition to the Spanish language song, a remixed version featuring Justin Bieber’s voice also became a rage.

YouTube has not commented on the same as of now.
