The sudden demise of Sridevi has left everyone in shock. On 24th February Sridevi took the last breath in Dubai due to cardiac arrest. The post-mortem is completed but due to some paper works, the body is not sent from Dubai. Also, NOC is still pending. After the completion of paper works the body was supposed to be sent by a private jet of Anil Ambani at 2 pm. The jet is already sent to Dubai to bring back the dead body. From family members to fans to media, everyone is in the Versova house of Sridevi, waiting for the body.
The post-mortem was completed on Sunday i.e 25th February. Around 12:55 pm today an official from the Indian Consulate, accompanied by a family member, has been called inside the morgue. The Indian Consulate official has confirmed that all matters are concluded. The consulate official has left the premises along with the relative, Saurabh Malhotra. As per reports death certificate will be issued soon. The forensic reports will be issued by 3:35 pm today.
One of the family members said that Sridevi’s body was not brought back yesterday as the charge sheet was not ready until the evening. India’s ambassador to the UAE (UAE), Navdeep Singh Suri and Indian Consul General Vipul of Dubai and representatives of the Indian Consulate General in Dubai are coordinating with the Dubai Police and other relevant officials.
