Pad Isn’t Shame! “My Dad Brought Sanitary Pads for me “says Prernaa Arora
Akshay Kumar starrer Pad Man is about to release this week on 9th February 2018. The movie has been able to create a tremendous amount of buzz, all thanks to the trailer and issues the movie is dealing with. Now, producer Prernaa Arora, who hails from a small town in North India talks about the movie and her childhood days.
In an interview with online portal SpotboyE.com, Prerna Arora said, “Ladies never went out after sunset, so my mother was always at home in the evenings. Even otherwise, she hardly moved out. We counted our Dad to get everything that was required,”
She further added,
“And this included my sanitary pads, every month, ad and I never spoke about this, lekin haan I remember that he was very particular and supportive that women need to maintain hygiene during their menstrual cycle. I remember then that I used to say to myself that my dad is a super hero”
Coming back to the movie, Pad Man is a social comedy-drama film directed by R. Balki. The movie features Akshay Kumar, Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor in the lead roles. The movie is inspired by the story of a social activist Arunachalam Muruganantham, who invented the machine that manufactures low-cost sanitary pads.
Producer Prernaa Arora is pretty confident about the success of Pad Man.
