Rumor Suggests That Deepika Padukone May Replace Shraddha Kapoor In Saina Nehwal’s Biopic

Shraddha Kapoor Bollywood journey is a roller coaster ride. She started her career with back to back flops. Aashiqui 2 became a massive hit and she became the talk of the town. After Aashiqui 2, she gave back to back hits. But she is struggling once again. ‘OK Jaanu’ and Hasina Parkar were massive flops at the box office, whereas Half Girlfriend did decent business.

Shraddha Kapoor would be hoping to change her fortune this year, she has some big projects lined-up.  She will star opposite Prabhas in Saaho. She also has Saina Nehwal’s biopic.  However, it looks like something is not right for Shraddha. Buzz in the industry doing the rounds, suggests that the Saina’s biopic has been ‘stalled indefinitely’.

Reports suggest that the makers are finding the movie feasible with Shraddha in the lead. But, Shraddha’s dip in star power has forced the makers to rethink their decision. They are looking to re-cast Deepika Padukone in the title role.

Shraddha Kapoor has started preparing for the biopic. The director Amole Gupte is also working extensively. However, it looks like Shraddha might get replaced by Deepika in the movie.
