Aamir Khan Not Working Opposite Priyanka Chopra in Rakesh Sharma’s Biopic “Salute”

Aamir Khan has backed out of the movie Rakesh Sharma’s biopic “Salute” because of several disagreements between him and the Creative Team. Read on to know what stopped Aamir to proceed further!

Fans were very much excited when the news came that both Priyanka Chopra and Aamir Khan can be paired opposite to each other for the first time in the astronaut Rakesh Sharma’s biopic Salute. The movie is directed by Mahesh Mathai. Priyanka Chopra has been rumoured to play the wife of Aamir in the movie but it seems that the fans will have to wait for more to see this pair together on screen.

According to the sources, Aamir has backed out of the movie because of several disagreements between him and creative team. Aamir is going to start shooting for the film Thugs of Hindostan and the makers have planned its release on Independence Day at 2018. Well, it’s pretty disappointing!

While speaking with a popular web entertainment portal, when Priyanka has been asked about announcing her next movie, Priyanka has revealed, “Yes, I am, as soon as I put pen to paper. I’m not someone who’s into like ‘yeh main kar rahi hoon. Yeh announcement karo’. I believe in starting the film and when there is…it’s come to a place where you can talk about it, then people should see what I’m talking about because otherwise, there are so many speculations. I believe I’ve signed some 20 films, so far. I mean, I’m in conversation with every film that’s being made at the moment. And, I am in conversation with a few people. But, that doesn’t make a film and that definitely does not make the news. Trolling and speculative movie announcements are two things that really need to get out of entertainment news. Then there will be so much more to talk about. When did trolling become news? How can someone’s opinion on Twitter become front page headlines? That’s another one…that’s a pet peeve of mine.”
