The famous “Hey maa, Mataji!” actress Disha Vakani welcomed a baby girl on Thursday morning. We all were terribly missing her on the screen and that is because she was expecting a child.
A source close to Disha stated that, “Although Disha’s delivery date was sometime in the third week of December, she delivered the baby today morning. Both mom and daughter are doing well and would be discharged from the hospital soon. Disha is yet to decide when she would be back to work but as of now she wants to spend time with her bundle of joy.”
TV actress Disha Vakani essays the role of Daya on television’s most successful long running show- Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah who is best known for her comic timing and peculiar way of speaking and for breaking into garba anytime ,anyplace, very unexpectedly. Since the time media came to know that actress Disha Vakani is pregnant there were rumors that producer of the show Asit Kumarr Modi is going to replace her in the show.
Later Asit Kumarr Modi himself cleared this rumor stating that there will NO change in show’s family. Producer was ready to manage the show track without Disha. During her pregnancy days, Disha was accompanied by her mother-in-law while shooting for the major scenes. Her mother-in-law took care of all her comforts all that while.

Disha had tied the knot with Mumbai-based Chartered Accountant Mayur Padia in November 2015.
Talking about Disha welcoming bundle of joy, producer Asit Kumarr Modi, he said, “Even I have heard the same but till the time I don’t meet Disha, I wouldn’t like to comment.”
