Kapil Sharma’s Firangi’s release Got Postponed!
The forthcoming film starring Kapil Sharma “Firangi” has been earlier slated to release on Friday (November 24) is gradually getting postponed. As per resources, the film needs certification from CBFC (The Central Board of Film Certification).
The film director Rajiev Dhingra says, “We were hoping to get our censor certificate early this week. Now we’re told the censor certificate will be given to us on November 23, a day before our release date. How can we release the film under such uncertainty? My friend Kapil Sharma, my Mumbai distributor Anil Thadani and I have decided not to release this Friday.”
However, the date of new release is yet to be decided, the film is likely to be released on December 1, the day Padmavati was going to open. Well, initially, the film has been set to release on November 10, later it has got pushed to November 24 and now people are expecting an announcement that the makers had to push the release date again.
Firangi is going to be Kapil’s second movie Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon. He was launched by the famous director duo Abbas-Mustan of Baazigar fame.
Firangi, directed by Rajiev Dhingra also stars Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill.
