ICC Reacted on Virat Kohli For Using Walkie-Talkie
First do you all know it was the last match of Ashish Mehra?
First T20 match between India and New Zealand was quite important. This is because it was the last match of Ashish Nehra’s career. From fans to cricket stars, everyone was talking about it. And therefore he trended all over the social media for a long time.
Now not only Ashish Mehra was in gossip for this, there was someone else as well who was into gossip for some reason. And he is our Virat Kohli. He was in the gossip because of not good batting but because he was uing walkie-talkie in the dugout during the match.
The standard 20-20 International Match playing conditions law 42.12, prohibits the use of any electronic device or equipment to communicate with the players on field. It says-
“The use of electronic communication devices and equipment of any kind to communicate with players on the field of play shall not be permitted, except that broadcaster to player communication shall, with the prior consent of the participating countries, be allowed.”
Later he was given the clean chit by ICC as he had taken the prior permissions for using walkie-talkie
Times Now has confirmed this news on twitter-
#BREAKING: ICC gives clean chit to Virat Kohli, Virat had sought prior permission from ICC to use walkie-talkie #WalkieTalkieVirat
