Farhan Akhtar And Randeep Hooda Demand For Action Against People Manhandling CRPF Jawans In Kashmir Valley
A video of Kashmiri youth slapping and abusing CRPF soldiers in the Kashmir Valley is going viral on internet as well as social networking sites.
On polling day on April 9, a CRPF man on polling duty is seen being manhandled by protesters in Chadoora area of Budgam district. This led to deadly violence which further led to the death of eight civilians in firing by security forces and many videos of these incidents have been taking rounds on the internet.

Many Bollywood celebrities got annoyed and strongly condemned the whole incident. They took twitter as a medium to express their concern.
Among them were actor-filmmaker Kamal Hassan who tweeted saying, “Integrate into India. Shame on those who dare touch my soldiers. Height of valour is non-violence. CRPF has set a fine example.”

Peace lover Randeep Hooda and Farhan Akhtar were also displeased and tweeted about this heinous incident.
Randeep Hooda tweeted, “Had this soldier used his gun it would’ve become human rights violation?Then what’s this?Should’ve given the”azaadi”right there!Very angry!!”
He also posted a video of the incident.

Farhan Akhtar tweeted:
The footage of our soldiers being slapped and heckled is sickening.. their restraint admirable. Action must be taken immediately.

Other Bollywood celebs who expressed their anger on this issue was Anupam Kher, Director Anubhav Sinha and Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir.
Anupam Kher posted a Twitter video and along with the video he tweeted saying, “As a peace loving person I may applaud our soldiers for their restraint. But I still want to say, “Don’t take panga with our soldiers.”

The incident was quite depressing where the jawans were hit brutally, their helmets were taken off, and they were asked to leave with a slogan of “Go India, Go Back.” But salute to our Indian Jawans for handling the situation with calmness and patience.
