Arshad Warsi starter Jolly LLB was released in 2013 and turned out as one of the biggest entertainers of that year. Not only that, the film went on to won two National Film Awards. One for the Best Feature Film in Hindi, while other was for Saurabh Shukla, who won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor. At latest, Akshay Kumar starrer Jolly LLB 2 Trailer is out now and here’s how Arshad Warsi responded.

In the recent past, it was reported that Arshad wasn’t happy when the makers picked up Akshay Kumar for the male lead of Jolly LLB 2. As we all know, it was Arshad who did the first part of Jolly LLB, so that maybe the reason why he is unhappy. Well, the news was refuted by Arshad Warsi himself, who goes on to say, “I am not doing it (Jolly LLB 2). Akshay is doing it. I was supposed to do it, but Fox Star Studios needed a bigger star, so they chose Akshay. It makes it easier for marketing, it makes it easier to have a hit. With me, you (the filmmakers) have to make a good film, so that is the problem. You can make money with me only if it’s a very good film.”
His statement clearly means that he is not unhappy at all and at latest he again proved the same. After seeing the trailer of Jolly LLB 2, Arshad couldn’t control his excitement and went on to praise Akshay Kumar in a big way. He tweeted, “Finally saw the trailer of Jolly LLB2. Love the new Jolly. Looking forward to it, all the best to @humasqureshi @akshaykumar & @subkapoor”
Well, after seeing the tweet of Arshad Warsi, with in no time, Akshay Kumar too replied him saying, “Thank you for the love & luck Arshad, glad you liked it.”
