After quitting as Rajya Sabha member on Monday, it is highly buzzed that former cricketer turned politician Navjot Singh Sidhu will quit ‘The Kapil Shama Show’.
Recently, Sidhu has joined AAP and it is highly speculated that AAP would project Sidhu as their Chief Ministerial candidate in Punjab. Since inception, Navjot Singh Sidhu has been a prominent figure in Kapil Sharma’s comedy show. His association with Kapil Sharma’s comedy show dates three years back.
Sidhu is best known for his jokes and shayeris. Recently, at the ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, his wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu also graced the show with their daughter.
A reliable source from the channel informs, “There’s a lot of pressure on Sidhu Paaji to quit our show. If it’s true that has quit the BJP for the AAP. We’ve heard that Paaji has been instructed to stop participating in the comedy show, as he needs to revamp his image.”
On Wednesday, Sidhu was spotted at Mumbai airport for the first time after he announced quitting party but he maintained a dignified silence on every matter.
“He came to Mumbai to shoot for TKSS. From what we gather, he is planning to leave,” says a source from the show.
