After giving a short glimpse of teaser to the fans, Hollywood star Vin Diesel and actress Deepika Padukone disclosed their first trailer of XXX: The Return of Xander Cage late on Wednesday morning. The Indian audiences were eagerly waiting for the trailer.As we know why because it is going to be the first hollywood launch for Deepika Padukone, to debut in an action packed franchise.The audiences went gaga after watching the teaser of the film.
In the teaser Deepika was in a face-off with Vin Diesel but held her own on the pitch. She told him in a real Indian accent, “Whatever it is you are here for, you’re gonna come up short,” before spinning a knife. Deepika plays the role of Serena Unger in the film sharing a screen space with other actors like Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose, Donnie Yen,Samuel.L.Jackson and Tony Jaa.
But to our ,Mastani aka Deepika is only to be seen in the trailer for about one and a half minute scenes of her spinning a blade and reloading a gun. Yes of course ,its her Hollywood debut and many of her fans expected more of Deepika’s fierce action clips in the trailer, but the trailer only showcased tiny little segments of her role.
Disappointing shocking,isnt it? After being extensively promoted for the movie and when the audiences get to see the debutante only for nano seconds,it usually sets people in total regret. There wasn’t even a single dialogue of her in the XXX trailer.suprisingly even Ruby Rose gets to have her word.
But if you’re a Vin Diesel’s fan then be calm , because he steals the show here by announcing his return with “If you wanted me back, you could’ve just asked me!”
The trailer begins with Samuel L Jackson talking about how the world is no more safe as he brandishes his chopsticks about.
We all hope that the movie offers something good to Deepika Padukone and hopefully not a shortened version of the trailer for the fans to view.
