Sultan Mints a Whopping Rs. 105.34 crores With Its Third Day Collection

With Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Bajrangi Bhaijaan demolishing the box office, everyone expected that Salman Khan’s Sultan will be broken all the records and create a new mark in terms of commercial success. Many people were disappointed and speculated that due to the delay of festival Eid, the collection of the film would be affected.

But when the movie stars Salman Khan and there is no big release in coming weeks, then nothing can stop the money wagon of the actor. Sultan on its first day was able to collect about 31.5 crores and became the highest grossing film of the actor beating Bajrangi Bhaijaan (27.25 crores) and Kick (26.52 crores). After Pre-Eid and Eid, the third day was a regular one, but the film managed to make an overwhelming collection.

Through its third-day box office collection, Sultan made a total of 105.34 crores, making its entry to the 100 crore club. You might be surprised that it’s the tenth movie of Salman Khan that has got crossed the 100 crores and he hold the maximum number of the film in the highly renowned 100 crore club.

Due to attaining such a figure, the film has become the biggest opener of Salman Khan up till now. Both the single screens and multiplexes are having 80% occupancy, it is reported that people are liking and giving a great response to the wrestling drama.

Yash Raj Films are about to overcome the loss and the disappointments from Sultan that came from the films released before it. After Ek Tha Tiger, Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Dhoom 3, Sultan is the fourth film of the production house to hit the century.
