Bollywood upcoming movie ‘Sultan‘ seems like a larger than life movie and the latest we heard that it will go to be a very lengthy movie. It is now clear that the movie has based on a fictional character ‘Sultan Ali Khan Cheema’ and have the run time of 2 hours 50 Mins. Well, Sultan’s reel time is longer than expected but the director doesn’t have to worry because it has Salman Khan in it.
Yes, If Salman Khan is there in a movie, then the Bhaijaan fans will definitely to come at the Theatres. Even the good thing about ‘Sultan’ sure success is that it has been releasing on the Eid this year. And we already know that Salman’s Eid releases always get to taste 100 crore mark in no time.
As the film is releasing on Wednesday, July 6, so it has 5 days weekend in its kitty and that the plus point for the movie. Recently, ‘Sultan’ has been shown to Salman’s father Salim Khan and he really liked the movie from start to end.
When asked about the film’s length to Director Ali Abbas Zafar, he said, “When I showed the film to Salim Saab he said something that gave me immense confidence. He said, ‘You’ve been able put more on the screen more than you put on paper (in the screenplay).’ Coming from a writer of his stature that was an immense boost for my self-confidence.”
Even Director Ali Abbas Zafar confessed that he will not go to watch the movie on the releasing day as he has promised his family to watch the movie with them. He said, “My family has no connection with the film industry. My parents won’t come to Mumbai even for something as important as Sultan. They told me, ‘You come to Dehradun to watch it with us’. So I am off to be home with my parents the day after Sultan releases.”
So, the ‘Sultan’ movie length will not matter much to the audience as they really love to see Sultan spending more screen time on the Celluloid.
