Speculations have always run rife regarding Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s bond. Of late, grapevine is abuzz that Ranveer and Deepika are no longer a couple! They have called it quits mutually and silently. However, Deepika Padukone never admitted or denied being in a relationship with Ranveer Singh and now that they are no longer lovebirds, the ‘Cocktail’ actress as always maintained a dignified silence.
During an interview with a leading daily, the leggy lass got candid and spoke about her latest equation with her alleged boyfriend, saying, “There’s nothing to respond to. As I said, I have never responded to such rumours and I don’t plan to anytime soon (smiles).”
Reacting to the break-up report, Deepika said, “I have never commented on anything before, so I won’t say anything now. He has been and will always be an important part of my life. That will never change.”
After a long time, Deepika Padukone is back home. She has been away from her home for a long time for the shooting of her Hollywood venture, ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’.
Deepika expressed her feelings on returning home after a hiatus, “It feels great to be back home. I made a few one-day trips to India in between [while shooting in Canada], but this time, coming back is a different feeling. I have always been a homebody. I enjoy spending time at home. I don’t think I’ve been away for so long at a stretch ever. I really look forward to coming back home after finishing work, chilling, having nice Indian food and spending quality time”.
Deepika Padukone was busy with Hollywood since her last film, ‘Bajirao Mastani’ hit the theatres and she is yet to sign her next Bollywood film. When asked about signing Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Rani Padmavati’, she answered diplomatically, “I can’t confirm anything at this point, but like I always say, ‘Soon, you will get to know what I am doing next”.
