Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' is all set to hit the theaters on this Friday, but this journey is not less than a roller coaster one. The reason why I am saying so, is the kind of controversies that has hit this film in the past 3 months. The recent controversy related to this film was MNS who demanded a ban on 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', as the film stars Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in it. Recently, we even thought that, Karan Johar's film will not able to see the light of the day on October 28 but now all the issues are resolved. So the film is releasing on this Friday and we are excited for it. The Bachchans vs Aishwarya: The steamy scenes of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor has raised several eyebrows and it was even heard that Bachchan's were unhappy with it. When Amitabh Bachchan was asked about Aishwarya's role, he says he is waiting for the release. Same goes with Abhishek Bachchan, who is eagerly waiting for the release. So the Bachchan's family has put the lid on the rumours and that means they are not at all upset with Aishwarya. As per Karan Johar, Aishwarya's role is an important one in the film and we are excited for its release. 2. The KRK effect The least known actor turned Kamaal Rashid Khan has to be credited for the promotion of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Yes, the promotion was not the positive one but it has helped the movie to garnered mass publicity. It was all started when, Ajay Devgn released an audio clip of KRK, where he confessed that he took a sum of Rs 25 lakh to target 'Shivaay' and promote 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'. Soon after that, a lot of fingers have been pointed against Karan Johar and his flick. Karan remain muted about this whole fuss as he says that people know him well and he don't have to give any explaination on it. Soon after that, the bonding has been broken between Kajol and Karan Johar. 3. Pakistan artistes ban Soon after the Uri Attack took place on September 18, Indians criticized Pakistan which claimed the life of 20 Jawans. After this, MNS Party demanded a complete ban on Pakistani actors and gave an ultimatum of 48 Hours. MNS than Targeted 'e Dil Hai Mushkil'as the film stars Fawad Khan in it. Few weeks back, things were worse for the movie as MNS says that they will protest against the film. Now,MNS and Karan Johar's matter is settled by Maharashtra CM Devendra Phadnavis and now the film will be releasing smoothly. 4. Fawad Go Back! At once, the Ban on Pakistani actors in India was only focused on Fawad Khan. As he is the one who is a popular actor in Pakistan and Hindi film industry. The government and IMPAA has spared Ae Dil Hai Mushkil for the ban and says that there will be no further bonding with Pakistani actors for the films. Well, still MNS had protested against Fawad Khan and finally agreed that they will not protest against the film as Karan Johar has agreed all their demands. 5. Exhibitors Boycott over Ae Dil Hai Mushkil Cinema Owners And Exhibitors Association Of India (COEAI) was the one who had gave a big shock to Karan Johar as they decided not to release the film in Maharashtra, Karnantaka, Goa and Gujarat. The reason behind not releasing the film was a threat from MNS protest against the film. Well, they have called off the ban as MNS now decided to stay quiet on this issue. 6. Rs 5 crore settlement Just few days back, CM Devendra Phadnavis called a meeting of Karan Johar and MNS chief Raj Thackeray to solve the matter in the peaceful way. In that meeting, MNS demanded KJO that they must deposit Rs. 5 Crore at the Indian Army Welfare Foundation on which he agreed. Karan Johar even agreed to put a collage photo of Indian Jawans, who died in the Uri Attack. Following which, Raj Thackeray and his party withdrawn the protest against 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'. 7. Censor Certificate Leaked Issue Recently, the Censor Certificate of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has leaked online, where we have seen that the film has got 5 cuts. The 50 percent cut was on Anushka Sharma's smooching scenes in the movie.
