64th National Awards List: Akshay Kumar Won Best Actor, Neerja Best Hindi Film

The 64th National Awards list has just been revealed and there are some happy moments for Bollywood filmmakers. This is the first time Akshay Kumar has won the National Award for his impeccable performance in Rustom, which was based on the K M Nanavati's infamous murder case. Apart from that, two Bollywood female-centric movies have ruled the roost in the National Awards. A special mention has been given for Sonam Kapoor's Neerja. Overall, 64th National Awards list is truly surprising and we are happy that Bollywood movies did surprise us after winning several major awards.
