Desai is married to her co-star from Uttaran, Nandish Sandhu, since 12 February 2012. They tied the knot in Dholpur.[3] In 2013, Rashami became pregnant but suffered from a miscarriage. Due to the miscarriage, problems started taking place in their lives. In 2014, Rashami and Nandish started staying separately due to some differences. However, resolving all differences, they came back together and apparently patched up. Rashami and her husband filed for divorce after four years of marriage.
