This was his first role, which helped him to get few good roles in Utsav (1984), Chameli Ki Shaadi (1986), Mr. India (1987), Ghayal (1990), Hum (1991), Darr (1993) and Sardar (1993). These are some of his best performances over the years. He has been in the Bollywood industry for over 30 years but now he is getting the real popularity.
