You know, people say a lot of mean things about Bollywood. They say it's frivolous, there's much singing and dancing, there's no realism, etc. But what they don't understand that Bollywood is actually a treasure trove of useful and not-so-useful life lessons that would really stand you in a good stead, if only you look beyond the obvious. Here are just a few of the obvious ones. 1. Sholay "If you're a good guy at heart, you'll eventually win." It doesn't matter if Basanti chooses to dance in front of the "dogs' or not. 2. Kaho Na Pyar Hai "Don’t get disheartened if you don't end up with the love of your life. God will give you many more chances." Who knows? You might just run into the Xerox Copy of your old flame! 3. In other words, don't get laid where you get paid. 4. 3 Idiots "Do what you love and you won't work another day in your life." And your old girlfriend will come till Ladakh to find you. But only if you have a pair of amazing friends! 5. Andaz Apna Apna "You have to learn to brand and market yourself to make your mark. " Literally. 6. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani "Follow your dreams." You can get back the love of your life through a song and dance routine anyway. 11. Ram Leela "Love knows no boundaries." And that pointing a loaded weapon at your crush moves things forward. Wait, what? 12. Queen "Believe in yourself." And sometimes, it's better to be single 13. Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander "If you're looking for love, then look no further than your best friend." 14. Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi "No matter who you look and speak like, the real you will always be more awesome." Also, it is surprisingly easy to trick your wife into believing you're someone else. 15.
