Back in the past and today’s Bollywood, Yes! People were used to come Mumbai to try their luck on the big screen. But there were and there are only few who get the chance to make it on screen.

Back in the 50s the girls were used to give screen test for the role on a film, but it wasn’t as easy as it sounds as.

We bring you the pictures of screen test of one of the film of 1950s, which brings the reality of Bollywood and casting in the light. These pictures were clicked by Life Magazine’s editor, where director Abdul Rashi Kardar was looking for a foreign girl and an Indian girl to act in a movie.
