12 Mind-blowing ‘Baahubali’ Facts Everyone Should Know.

1. The most expensive movie ever made in the Indian Sub continent. Baahubali has left behind all the big budget Bollywood films like Ra.One, Krrish 3, Dhoom 3 and many more, Baahubali has got a total investment of Rs.250 Crores with Rs. 85 Crores spent only on the spectacular visual effects. 2.The film's stunt choreographer Peter Hein controlled over 2000 men and elephants during some of the war sequences. After watching the film, one can definitely understand the efforts which went behind the shooting of the war sequences, which required management which was on next level all together. 3. The special effects of 'Baahubali' and 'Jurassic World' are done by the same team. Surprised right? This is true. The super talented team whose hands are behind the creation of VFX for Jurassic park also created the special effects for mega blockbuster Baahubali. 4.The poster of the film set a Guinness Book record of being the longest film poster ever, measuring 51,000 sq.feet. Grand launches of Indian movies are always in news. But the first look poster of Baahubali was itself so grand and magnificent what it managed to break all records worldwide. 5. One of the sequence in the field required a maize field which was naturally grown for 7 months. The maize fields which were required for one of the sequences for the movie was not done with special effects, but an actual 20 acre maize field was grown at the Ramoji Film City. 6. It received 9.4 rating on IMDB, which is the highest ever for any Indian Film. Time to get over the IMDB ratings of other super hit movies released earlier this year because nothing can beat the meter which Baahubali has managed to cross. 7. A 100 feet tall statue of Bhallala Deva(Rana Daggubati) was installed at Ramoji Film City. While watching the movie the audience thinks that the Bhallala Deva statue is created with Visual effects. But in actual, a massive 100 ft statue was placed on the sets at RFC and 4 cranes were used to erect it. 8. The waterfall scene from the trailer alone took two months to be shot. The mesmerizing scene where Prabhas gets stunned by Tamannah and follows her, was shot over a period of two months. Well, it is definitely worth all the efforts put in. 9.To develop a suitable body to compliment the characters, both Prabhas and Rana had to consume 3000 K calories per day. Both Prabhas and Rana have managed to make the audience drop their jaws with their bulky built-up bodies. A lot of efforts including rigorous training and diet have gone behind it. Hats off! 10. A new language called 'Kiliki' was created by writer Madhan Karky. The language which is spoken by the tribesmen who attack Mahishmati Kingdom is not just a random wordplay. It is a language specifically created for the film. This language has over 50 new words and also its own grammar rules. Interesting right? 11. The war scene of the film was shot for a duration of four months. The 20 minute scene which is a war between Mahishmati and Kalikeya kingdom was shot over a duration of four months, with all the special effects, stunts and usage of newly created weapons. 12. 17 studios and 600 artists across the world were involved in order to execute the visual effects of the film. Artists from China, South Korea and India were got in to execute the 4,500 visual effects and graphics of the film. The team also included people who have worked on the VFX of movies like Ra.One and Krrish 3.
