Marriage is the process by which by which two people make their relationship public, official and permanent. Marriage is a thing which comes in our mind with a picture of Band Baja and lots of Baraati. There are lots of B town stars who enjoyed highly publicized and glamorous weddings. However on the other hand not every celebrity wishes for a glamorous wedding. These celebrities prefer a small function with their family members and close friends rather than collecting the whole media around the hotel where they are marrying. Here are a few B-Town folks who tied the knot away from the public's eye. 1. John Abraham and Priya Runchal: After breaking up a 9 year long relationship with Bipasha Basu, John kept his love life under the cover. His marriage news came as shock for his fans. This desi boy got married to Priya Runchal in a private ceremony in US. Nobody knows when the wedding took place. Akshay and Twinkle: Khiladi of Bollywood and daughter of yesteryear superstar Rajesh Khanna, Twinkle Khanna shocked the entire nation when they announced their wedding in 2001. Akshay Kumar was always famous for his affairs with his co- actresses but he never confirmed any news. He kept his love life veiled under sheets. The two got married on January 7, 2001 with the list of just 50 guests and wedding ceremony was summed up in just two hours. It took a lot of time for people to digest that the two are actually married. 3. Sridevi and Boney kapoor: This was another famous secret marriage. On the irony, Boney Kapoor was already married and was the father of two, yet got attracted by Sridevi's charm and tied knot with her in the temple. His first wife was Mona( Mother of today's heart throb Arjun Kapoor) Bonny divorced her later. Sridevi announced her marriage to Boney Kapoor when she was reportedly seven months pregnant. They kept their marriage hidden for so long due to number of reasons. 4. Kunal Kapoor and Naina Bachchan: The 'Rang de Basanti star married actor Amitabh Bachchan's niece Naina Bachchan. After dating for two years the couple wanted a nice and relaxing beach wedding and that's why they landed in Seychelles, far away from prying eyes. They got married in a private ceremony attended by only very close friends and immediate family members on the 9th February, 2015. The news of their wedding somehow got to the media and congratulatory messages started pouring in on Kunal's tweeter. He acknowledged the marriage by thanking his fans. 5. The actress was busy in romancing with Che Kurein and now both are married. Shocked?? Isn't it? The couple kept their love affair under so many wraps that not even a single gossip column got a sniff what was going on between the two. Dharmendra and Hema Malini: Hunky Dharam and beautiful Hema fell in love on the sets of 'Sholay'. 'Masti' actor Aftab secretly tied knot with his fiancee Nin Dusanj. The wedding was attend by few friends and close family members on 11th June, 2014. After a series of failed relationship Aftab kept his affair with Nin under many wraps. Earlier they were supposed to get hitched in 2013 but due to some reasons they postponed their plan. Nin Dusanj is the younger sister of Kabeer Bedi's girlfriend Parveen Dusanj. It was Kabeer who first broke the news of Aftab's marriage by congratulating the newlywed on Tweeter. 9. Rani Mukherjee and Aditya Chopra: Rani Mukherjee and director Aditya Chopra secretly tied the knot in Italy in a private ceremony in April 2014. Aditya who was earlier married to Payal Khanna got divorced in 2009. Though Aditya and Rani never admitted to their romance, secretly married in Italy. Now the happily married couple is blessed with a baby girl, they named her Adira. 10. Preity Zinta and Gene Goodenough: Dimple girl of Bollywood became conscious after her break up with Ness Wadia. She maintained her status of being single ever since her break up with Ness Wadia, until she found her new boyfriend named Goodenough to be good enough for her. She married her boyfriend Gene Goodenough in a private ceremony in Los Angels on February 29, 2016. Their wedding took place in the presence of couple's family and close friends. Preity Zinta broke the news of her wedding with Gene through social media. 11. Urmila Matondkar and Mohsin Akhtar: The 42 year old Rangeela lady holded the single title for too long. Urmila Matondkar has taken everyone into a surprise by tying the knot. In a quite ceremony, on March 3, 2016, Urmila got hitched to Kashmir based businessman Mohsin Akhtar Mir at the actress' residence. The couple was keen to keep their wedding simple and intimate. Hence only family and the dearest friends of couples were a part of ceremony, which was solemnized as per Hindu rituals.
