11 Bollywood Actors Who Said No To These Iconic Hollywood Movies

1) Shah Rukh Khan - Slumdog Millionaire The King Khan of the Bollywood lost the golden opportunity to make it International after he turned down Danny Boyle's Film Slumdog Millionaire. Mr SRK said that the role was not suited for him, and eventually the role went to Anil Kapoor. 2) Deepika Padukone - Fast and Furious 7 The Bollywood Diva without even thinking once turned down Fast and Furious 7. Deepika was busy shooting for Farah Khan's Happy New Year. 3) Akshay Kumar - Untitled movie co-starring Dwayne Johnson Mr Khiladi of the Bollywood is very well known for his daredevil stunts, Akshay was the first choice for an untitled Hollywood movie co-starring Dwayne Johnson. But the star have always have kept his distance from Hollywood. 4) Madhuri Dixit - Untitled Hollywood Movie The Beautiful Madhuri Dixit has also rumoured to turn down the role in a cameo that was supposed to be a dream sequence in the movie which traced the journey of an American girl who aspires to become a Bollywood actress. Madhuri was being offered a huge amount for the movie, but she turned it down because of the length of her role. 5) Dilip Kumar - Lawrence of Arabia Hollywood has always been obsessed with casting great actors from Bollywood and this was yet a blow to Hollywood when veteran actor Dilip Kumar rejected a lead role in the international project of David Lean's Lawrence of Arabia (1962). His reasons of rejection are not clearly known. 6) Priyanka Chopra - Immortals The Desi Girl Priyanka Chopra was offered the role in Hollywood Movie "Immortals" but Priyanka refused to accept the role because of her prior commitment to '7 Khoon Maaf.' Well the role then went to Actress Frieda Pinto. 7) Hrithik Roshan - The Pink Panther 2 The Indian Greek God has always cleared his stand from acting in Hollywood Movies. He was , therefore, quick to turn down the role that he was offered in the movie The Pink Panther 2. 8) Irrfan Khan - Interstellar Irrfan Khan is one of the most professional actor of the Bollywood and he turned down the Christopher Nolan's Interstellar because the script demanded him to stay in the US for four months and he was not allowed to travel back to India meanwhile. Irrfan was then shooting for 'The Lunchbox' and 'D-Day' and his professionalism did not allow him to leave his other two movies. The role then went to Hollywood Actor Matt Damon. 9) Aishwarya Rai Bachchan - Troy Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is one of the most beautiful woman in the world, she would have been perfect for the role of 'Briseis' in the famous Oscar nominated movie 'Troy'. However, the script demanded intimate scenes with actor Brad Pitt and then she had to let go of the opportunity. 10) Ronit Roy - Zero Dark Thirty Ronit Roy has more recently been critically acclaimed for his performances and intense expressions. Being one of the finest stars of Bollywood, he was offered a role in the Oscar award winning movie 'Zero Dark Thirty', but he had to turn it down as he was already busy shooting for Student Of The Year. 11) Salman Khan - Terminator Genisys The Famous Dabangg Khan was also rumoured to get a big time role in the Hollywood film Terminator Genisys. He was offered the role of John Connor but Salman Khan turned the role down for some unknown reason.
