Demi Leigh Nel Peters, the contestant from South Africa has been crowned with the coveted title “Miss Universe” yesterday in Las Vegas. She has bet with 91 other contestants to win the international title.
Miss Columbia has been the 1st runner-up while Miss Jamaica has become the 2nd runner-up. She is also known for her social work for women and has helped people to a greater extent for solving their own issues.
In South Africa, the biggest health issue is HIV/AIDS and Nel Peters wishes to stand upright for the social cause and wants to eradicate it completely. She is honestly very lucky, as apart from the title, she has also received a yearlong salary, a luxury apartment in New York City and several more prizes.
She has also completed her studies in Business Management and there’s no doubt about the fact that she’s a beauty with brains. She completely deserves the title and we all are extremely proud of her beauty and confidence.
