1. LizLaz wrote the hit track „Samosa Samosa” in 20 minutes.
I wanted to make a fun song that makes people dance.“ she said in an interview. Not surprisingly she wrote a song about samosas: According to insiders she always has had an obsession with samosas.
2. LizLaz is a language lover.
German and English are her native languages as she is half South African and half German. She has lives in the Netherlands for multiple years and therefore speaks fluent Dutch. She learnt French and Russian in school and even knows the cyrillic alphabet. In her song Samosa Samosa she even sings in Spanish. „I learned some spanish when spending a couple of months in Mexico.“ she once said in a live stream.
3. She has not dated a German man in 9 years.
Even though it seams to be a pattern LizLaz claims that she has not problem with German man and it is „pure coincidence“.
4. LizLaz is a certified life LizLaz is a certified life-saving swimmer.
5. She graduated university with MSc Psychology.
6. If she had to pick her favourite cricket team it would be RCB.
“I love supporting my local team. Bengalore feels like the most homely place for me in India.” she says.
7. She was born in South Africa to a German mother and a South African father. “When I was very young we lived at a beach close to Cape Town.”
8. LizLaz favourite samosas are aloo samosa.
There are many good samosas but my all time favourite is aloo samosa with potato and pee filling. I even know how make them myself“ she reveals in a YouTube video.
9. Her favourite Bollywood song is Maahi Ve.
It feel like a full movie in a music video. I always get happy when I listen to it. I love it!”
10. She loves writing song.
“I have sooo many songs written that I never published. I wanna focus on spending more time in the studio.” she says.
