Bhavna Pani is an actress and accomplished dancer working in Hindi, Malayalam and Kannad films. She was also a model and has worked in various TV commercials and serials. Having taken training as a classical dancer, she is well known for her dancing skills too.

Bhavna is based in Mumbai. Her father is accomplished ad film maker Uday Shankar Pani. She was born in Mumbai on 25 October. Her elder sister Devna Pani is an actress and fashion designer. Bhavna nurtured dreams of becoming an actress since her childhood but she believed in completing her education first. She got a BA degree in Psychology from Mithibai College in Mumbai. She was a good student but her dancing skills brought her much fame.

Bhavna Pani learnt the nuances of Kathak and Odissi from none other than Kelucharan Mahapatra and Birju Maharaj. Bhavna was a dedicated student of these exponents of dance. Being a Mumbaikar she was always influenced by Bollywood and western style of dancing. She was driven to western dances for which she took training from well known choreographer Terrence Lewis in Mumbai.

After a few opportunities in ad films and music videos, she got her major break in film with Tere Liye in 2001. She was cast in the leading role. The film bombed at the box office but Bhavna was offered more work in films like Dil Vil Pyar Vyar, Fast Forward, Tezz, The Graveyard shift.

Bhavna Pani was offered few films in South Indian languages playing lead roles. This includes Priyadarshan’s Malayalam film Vettam opposite mega star Dilip. Besides this, she has acted in Kannada and Telugu films. These include Yuvraja, Ninagoskara, Neenu Choodaka Nenundalenu. Recently in the year 2014, Bhavna acted in the film Ammayum Muyalum in Malayalam.

Presently Bhavna is playing the role of Maya Biyani in the serial Queens Hain Hum on & TV.
