Yuvraj Singh Responds To Sourav Ganguly’s Tweet About His Retirement


One of the finest cricketers in Indian cricket history, Yuvraj Singh announced his retirement recently. Man of the series of ICC World Cup 2011, Yuvraj announced his retirement from all forms of completive cricketer leaving his fans with mixed emotions. As soon as the news broke, the entire world started wishing him for his life after the cricket. From sportspersons to Bollywood celebrities, everyone wished ace cricketer on his big announcement. Among all the congratulatory messages, one tweet that has got our attention came from former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly.

Dada was the first captain for Yuvraj Singh when he made his debut at the age of 18. Both of them share a very good rapport. Ganguly is known for supporting young players like Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan, and Harbhajan Singh. All these players have lauded Dada for his support quite often.

When Yuvraj announced his retirement, Dada wrote, “@YUVSTRONG12 dear Yuv .. every good thing comes to an end .. Yuvraj Singh replied to his first captain Dada by writing, “Thanks Dadi for giving me an opportunity to play for India and live my dream 🙏 you will always be special to me”

Yuvraj Singh has won three ICC World Cups tournament: ICC U19 World Cup 2000, ICC T20 World Cup 2007 and ICC World Cup 2011. He is the only player in the world to do so.
