Pakistani qawwal sends legal notice to ‘Salman Khan Films’

Pakistani qawwal Late Ghulam Farid Sabri’s son Amjad Sabri has sent a legal notice to ‘Salman Khan Films’ and ‘Rockline Venkatesh’, the banners under which blockbuster ’Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ was produced. According to Sabri, ‘Bhar Do Jholi Meri’ which is a qawwali song in the film, was incorporated for the movie without his legal consent.

Ghulam Farid Sabri’s son has now decided to approach an Indian court and has also submitted his application for seeking an Indian visa in order to start the legal action and attend further legal proceedings.

The completely engaging ‘Bhar Do Jholi Meri’ qawwali in the movie is sung by Adnan Sami.

The movie is however running successfully at the box office, bagging more than ₹169 crores within 6 days.
