BlackBuck Case: Jaya Bachchan, Arjun Rampal express shock over Salman Khan’s conviction

In the blackbuck poaching case Salman Khan gets 5 years in prison whereas co-accused Sonali Bendre, Saif Ali Khan, Tabu and Neelam  were acquitted due to lack of evidence. All the actors were working on the film “Hum Saath Saath Hain” when the hunt took place.

He has been convicted under Section 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, which carries maximum punishment of six years and minimum one-year jail term.“Salman Khan has been convicted under the wildlife protection act and the rest of the stars have been acquitted,” prosecutor Mahipal Bishnoi told reporters.

And the way he killed innocent deer, and because there is rampant poaching…,” said the judge, explaining his decision. This statement by judge proves that Salman is a victim of stardom.
