IT Earns Big At Indian Box Office, The Movie Continues To Impress Viewers

IT is a supernatural horror film directed by Andy Muschietti. The movie has taken the world by storm. It is breaking all records at the box office all around the world. The movie got released in India this week. The film is doing good business, all thanks to the positive words of mouth.

IT has received very good reviews by film critics as well as movie goers from all around the world. The word of mouth has also helped the movie in earning big at the box office. Horror movie tends to be less inclined towards the story. This is the reason why we don’t find very gripping and good stories as far as horror films are concerned. But, IT is one of the rarest horror films, which has an awesome story.

Currently, it seems that horror is pretty good genres in films. Recent release Annabelle: Creation also did good business at the box office. But, IT has taken the horror film business to whole new level. The movie is among top 5 openers in US Box Office.

IT also opened well in India. The movie grossed Rs. 7.52 Crore in the first weekend. The movie didn’t earn as much as Annabelle: Creation but has a good run. Since the movie didn’t have lots of buzzes as compared to Annabelle, it did well. The movie stays strong throughout the week. It earned Rs. 1.27 Crore on Monday. It also earned Rs. 1.28 Crore on 1st Tuesday. The movie has earned a total of Rs. 10.07 crore in 5 days. The movie did much better business than both Bollywood films Daddy and Poster Boys.

Talking about the response of films in India, the Vice President and MD, Warner Bros. Pictures India, Denzil Dias said, “We couldn’t be more thrilled with the results, and congratulate New Line Cinema, director Andy Muschietti and his phenomenal cast and crew on this fantastic opening.”

If you love horror films, you should definitely go to the theater to watch IT. Critics and fans are appreciating the film. The movie has received positive reviews.
