Sidharth Malhotra’s Mission Manju
Sidharth Malhotra, who last worked in Thank God with Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh, is set to feature next in Mission Majnu.
The spy thriller movie is helmed by Shantanu Bagchi and made by Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala and Garima Mehta. Mission Majnu also stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead.
While audiences have been eagerly waiting for the movie’s release date, the Student Of The Year actor uploaded on his social media account and revealed that the film is heading for an OTT stream.
Mission Majnu’s release date announced
Sidharth dropped a new photo of himself from Mission Majnu and announced the launch date; he wrote: “Ek jaanbaaz agent ki ansuni kahaani. MISSION MAJNU Exclusively on Netflix, 20 January. #MissionMajnu #DeshKeLiyeMajnu #NetflixIndia”.
In it, the Hasee Toh Phasee star can be seen showing his powerful look as he wore an all-brown clothes.
Mission Majnu will go for direct-to-digital streaming and that the film will launch on Netflix in January 2023.
In the movie, Sidharth will portray the role of a RAW agent, while Rashmika will essay the role of a Muslim girl based in Pakistan.
Mission Majnu’s first look
In November prior year, Sidharth Malhotra revealed his first look from Mission Majnu.
“Get ready to be a piece of India’s most remarkable covert operation that derailed Pakistan’s illegal Nuclear Ambitions! Encouraged by real events,” the Ek Villain superstar had captioned the photo on Twitter.
Sidharth Malhotra’s professional front
On the work front, besides Mission Majnu, Sidharth will next feature in Dharma Productions’ Yodha with Disha Patani and Raashi Khanna.
It will be a theatrical launch on 7 July 2023.
He will also feature in Indian Police Force, a web series directed by Rohit Shetty, which will release on Amazon Prime Video. It also features Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi in the lead.
