Rakhi Sawant Opposes Condom Ad Ban, Says Government Wants Indians To Get AIDS

Where there is a Rakhi Sawant there is a controversy. Last Rakhi Sawant shocked the nation by raising some really sensible questions on ‘Zaira Wasim’s Vistara matter’. Once again Rakhi Swant is in headline and this time for opposing condom ad ban. Well are you aware of the fact that government has banned condom ads between 6 pm to 10 pm on small screens? Well yes government did that!

Recently Rakshi annouced that she will be endorsing the condom brand, but she is very upset with the fact that government has banned the condom ads during the prime time. Talking about endorsing in condom brand, Rakhi went up on saying that she is doing it as a community service.
Rakhis was quoted as saying: “There should be more condom ads. More awareness about the product will lead to more precautions; people will know why it should be used, to protect oneself from AIDS for example. I am doing this condom ad as a community service.”

She indirectly called government biased towards Sunny and Bipasha because government passed condom ad ban statement when they came to know Rakhi is endorsing in condom brand. See what she said:
“The government did not censor condom ads by Sunny Leone or Bipasha. But as soon as the news of Rakhi Sawant’s condom ad made headlines, the government put a ban on ads between 6 am to 10 pm. Is the government scared? Do they already have a problem with the ad without even watching it that they put the blanket ban during the day?”

“Soon as the news of Rakhi Sawant’s condom ad made headlines, the government put a ban on ads between 6 am to 10 pm. Is the government scared?”

Now that Rakhi took Sunny’s name in conversation, how can she resist herself without calling her a ‘porn-star’. She went on saying that more than a product, Sunny is highlighted in the ad. See below what she exactly said:

“I feel Its Porn star Sunny Leone and Bollywood Actress Bipasha Basu who has gone too bold to ad more of skin then the product.”

And finally, she concluded with some sensible statements on condom ad ban:

“I would urge government to apply limitations on vulgarity shown on such ads. But time banning on the ad is not done… The era we live in we see child are more advanced then us. And that is why they need knowledge even on sex before they involve themselves in crime because of curiosity to know about sex. I am really upset everytime I need to face government. The time I do movies they have problems. Now done an ad with that too government has problem. Hope our prime minister lands support to me and give a second thought on such stupid time ban,” Deccan Chronicle quoted her as saying.
