Following the filing of an FIR under sections 354(A) (sexual harassment), 354(D) (stalking), 509, and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC as well as the IT Act, the Goregaon Police detained the man. The social media influencer received threatening messages from Naveen via WhatsApp.
Javed had lashed out at writer Chetan Bhagat for making a contentious remark about the actor at a literary event.
