- In contrast to her mother, actor Neena Gupta, Masaba stated that she enjoys “tags” and “goes after them” because they are important to her.
- Masaba also discussed how she and her Netflix programme, Masaba Masaba, were mentioned in the reviews for the Prime Video movie Modern Love Mumbai (2022).
- Masaba, who also creates jewellery and has a cosmetics line, made her acting debut in the movie Masaba Masaba in August 2020.
In a recent interview, Masaba Gupta talked about being hailed as a “millennial star,” “destiny’s child,” and “game changer.” The actor, businesswoman, and fashion designer said she appreciates such labels.
Masaba added that she likes “tags” and “goes after them” because they are significant to her, unlike her mother, actor Neena Gupta. Masaba continued that she was “very ambitious” and desired to “influence a generation” through her writing.
Masaba also talked about reading the Prime Video film Modern Love Mumbai (2022) reviews, which included her and her Netflix programme, Masaba Masaba.
She claimed that she “reads the good stuff and the bad,” adding that she does so repeatedly to “find something” that could help in her development as “a better actor or a businessperson.”
Masaba Gupta said she appreciated being relevant and that since “not everyone can be relevant,” she “always embraces” the label.
“I’m not my mom” (Neena Gupta, actor). Because they are significant to me, I like and pursue tags. Like that, I’m very ambitious. I would like to go by several names.
Masaba told News18, “I want to impact a generation. She continued, “Labels like reviews are welcome at any time. I take whatever I can get.
I adore it. I save all the magazine covers and read each one from start to finish. Sometimes I frame them.
In August 2020, Masaba, who also designs jewellery and has a cosmetics line, made her acting debut in the movie Masaba Masaba. Neena Gupta is also a part of the Sonam Nair-directed film.
In addition to portraying herself in the second season of her web series, which debuted in July of this year, Masaba also appeared, in short I Love Thane, which was included in the anthology film Modern Love Mumbai. Ritwik Bhowmik and actor-writer Dhruv Sehgal were both presents.
Masaba had previously discussed whether she had ever experienced any disadvantages as the daughter of Neena Gupta and former West Indies cricketer Viv Richards in an interview earlier this month.
While it has generally benefited her, Masaba acknowledged that there had been times when it hasn’t. She made this statement in an interview with News18.
70 per cent of the time, according to Masaba, “I think it has helped me, and 30 per cent of the time, it has gone against me.”
And the reason it didn’t work out for me is that every time I do something, people automatically assume that I have more opportunities than others because they assume that I have a lot of financial support from my parents.
